Lake Yale - water level falling. Water Temperature 73degrees. This week has been tough. Weather has changed after a long period of Westerly’s. Easterly weather is bringing in some cooler air temps.
Some Crappie are still being caught on jigs and minnows close to shore and offshore in deeper water.
Bass fishing is slow with some nice fish occasionally being caught. some females are on beds but I think they are confused with above average temperatures we have encountered. Some techniques are swim jig and speed worms in deeper water. Key areas are shell beds and weed lines.
